Cookie Policy

This policy explains what cookies and similar technologies Enthroned uses, why we use them, and how you can control them. It covers playenthroned.com and account.playenthroned.com. Our support portal (support.playenthroned.com) is a separate system with its own notice.
1. Who we are
Enthroned is operated from the European Union. All of our servers, databases and analytics are hosted in the EU. For any privacy question, or to exercise your rights under the GDPR, contact info@playenthroned.com.

Strictly necessary cookies cannot be switched off, as without them we cannot sign you in, keep your account secure, or take a payment. Everything else is your choice, and you can change it at any time:

Required for the site to function: keeping you signed in, protecting forms against cross-site request forgery, remembering your selected game region and language, protecting sign-in and sign-up against automated abuse, and processing payments. These cannot be disabled, because the site cannot deliver the service you asked for without them. They are exempt from consent under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive.

4. Analytics
Helps us understand how the site is used. No cookies, no IP addresses stored, and no tracking across other sites. You can switch it off at any time from cookie settings.
In more detail: we measure traffic using our own software, running on our own servers in the EU. No third party is involved and no data leaves our infrastructure. Your IP address is hashed in memory and discarded daily, nothing is written to your device, and we never cross-reference the data or follow you to other websites. On that basis it qualifies as exempt audience measurement, so it runs by default, but switching it off takes effect immediately.
5. Third parties
The only third parties that can set anything on your device are the two listed in the table above, and both are limited to a specific action you take:
- Google reCAPTCHA (Google Ireland Limited) protects our sign-in, sign-up and newsletter forms from automated abuse. We load it only when you interact with one of those forms, never on page load. See Google's privacy policy.
- Mollie B.V. (Netherlands) processes payments. Its cookies are set only if you start a purchase. See Mollie's privacy policy.
If you sign in with Steam, or connect Steam from your account settings, Valve may set cookies on their own domain as part of the sign-in flow. This only happens if you use one of those Steam buttons.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict and object to our processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. You can export or delete your account data from your account settings, or contact info@playenthroned.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.
7. Changes
If we add or materially change a cookie or a third party, we will update this page and ask you for your choices again.
